Sue defines as: "The everyday slights, indignities, put downs and insults that people of color, women, LGBT populations or those who are marginalized experiences in their day-to-day interactions with people." We will discuss some effective ways to respond when you experience or witness microaggressions against others. All students, faculty, and administrators are welcome to attend.Joyce Kendrick is the Attorney-in-Charge of the Mental Health Representation Team at Brooklyn Defender Services. She has served as an adjunct Professor at Touro School of Law teaching the Criminal Defense Clinic. She also teaches trial advocacy for the New York Corporation Counsel Training Program.
